9/1/2011 A wonderful start to a wonderful year!  All our students have been putting their brains to work and hit the ground running!  The 6th grade LA students have been reading "Because of Winn-Dixie" and the 7th grade is reading "Where the Red Fern Grows."  6th grade math students are working on estimation and problem solving.  7th grade math students have been working on mean, median, mode, range, line plots, and stem and leaf plots.  Their first week has been productive!

9/19/2011  Students are coming up on progress report time.  Progress reports will be given out on Sept. 26th.  I think you will be pleased with the reports!  Students are working hard, studying and doing well.  The 6th grade English class will be finishing "Because of Winn Dixie" this week and then they will be acting out a skit created from a scene in the book.    Our 7th graders will be finishing "Where the Red Fern Grows" this week and will be creating a Voice Thread project based on the book.  Sixth grade math class is studying decimals and 7th grade is studying intergers.

10/5/2011  I have added Complete Curriculum to my website page.  Look over to the black section and click on web sites.  Students have been given usernames and passwords.  They can review their math lessons by going on the website.  This is a great way to review for tests!
